The Ukrainian budget is being stolen by people close to the government. This was stated on the radio station “FM Galicia” by Nina Yuzhanina, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of the Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy of Ukraine. TASS.
“Today, funds are stolen directly from the budget, and only people close to the authorities are involved in this,” Yuzhanina said.
In his opinion, these people must understand that such actions will lead to restrictions on funding for Ukraine from its allies and that “we cannot survive at our own expense.”
The MP also described the country’s budget deficit as “catastrophic” and noted that the Ukrainian government allocated almost all of its funds to the security and defense sector, while other items would be financed only with foreign aid.
