United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) President Rebekah Greenspan and UN Deputy Secretary-General Martin Griffiths are holding talks with the Russian side on food and fertilizer exports. This was reported by TASSReferring to the representative of UN Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric.
According to Dujarric, Greenspan is directly in Moscow to attend meetings. Griffiths, head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, will attend all meetings remotely.
Dujarric emphasized that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres hopes that food and fertilizers from Russia and Ukraine will continue to flow unimpeded to global markets.
