A sharp clash took place during “Rymanowski’s Breakfast” on Polsat News, where the representative of the New Left, Anna Maria Żukowska, verbally clashed with the leader of the Confederation, Sławomir Mentzen. There were accusations of supporting pedophilia and domestic violence.
The introduction to the row between the New Left MP and the New Hope president was a discussion between politicians gathered in the Polsat News studio about tomorrow’s election debate on TVP. When asked whether it was difficult to reach an agreement with Krzysztof Bosak on who would represent the Confederation on TVP, Mentzen replied that both politicians shared responsibilities fairly.
Bosak in the debate
We get along very well with Krzysztof Bosak. We immediately agreed on the division of responsibilities – Krzysztof Bosak is going to the TVP debate tomorrow, I will be at Polsat’s “Guest of Events” tomorrow and on TVN on Wednesday after 7 p.m., so we shared
Mentzen insured.
The Confederation’s candidate for MP also expressed the belief that Krzysztof Bosak would perform best in the debate.
However, the outcome of this debate is completely obvious: everyone knows that Krzysztof Bosak will win. He has the most experience in debates and TV appearances, and he’s just great at it. He is better than Morawiecki and Tusk combined. The representative of the Confederation, Krzysztof Bosak, will be on TVP on Monday longer than in previous years combined, because they hid us from the viewers there. And we will show them young, Polish, modern, ideological politics. Everyone will see the difference between the competent, substantive Krzysztof Bosak and these ideology-less politicians, i.e. Tusk and Morawiecki. Tusk will continue to say that Morawiecki was his advisor and spoke differently, and Morawiecki will say that Tusk is pursuing the interests of Germany, and Bosak will be the only one who will show the interests of Poland – not the interests of Germany, not of Ukraine, but he will only care about the interests of Poland.
– said Sławomir Mentzen.
Dispute over pedophilia
Anna Maria Żukowska, a New Left MP, disagreed with his views and suggested that the Confederation’s electoral chances could be ruined by the figure of Janusz Korwin-Mikke and his controversial statements on pedophilia.
And Korwin-Mikke and mild pedophilia are behind you anyway, you can’t change that
– Żukowska intervened.
And behind you Biedroń is beating his mother
Mentzen replied.
The leader of New Hope was of course referring to media reports in which Robert Biedroń, MEP and New Left politician, beat his own mother and often used violence against her.
Later in the conversation, the discussion about pedophilia and Janusz Korwin-Mikke continued. Sławomir Mentzen stated with conviction that all speeches made by his fellow party member on the subject of pedophilia are private opinions.
This is the personal opinion of Janusz Korwin-Mikke, there is no such thing in our program. On the contrary, Krzysztof Bosak has already proposed regulatory changes in 2020, tightening penalties for concealing pedophilia. We believe that pedophilia should be fired with a hot iron
– Mentzen explained.
Anna Maria Żukowska again intervened at these words.
Janusz Korwin Mikke, one of the leaders of the Confederation, spreads shameful words that a normal man could mistake a twelve-year-old for an eight-year-old or a fifteen-year-old
– she noted.
Shameful words have been spoken by your potential candidate, Jan Hartmann, who opposed sentencing pedophiles. So if anyone here defends pedophiles, it’s the left
– Mentzen answered her again.
