Generalitat Valenciana has prepared a program of events to celebrate the 9 October festival. The most notable events planned for València, Alicante and Elche are:
VALENCIA
8 October
– Display of Real Senyera in the glass room of the Valencia City Council. From 10 am to 9 pm.
-Municipality Band concert at Palau de la Musica. Iturbi Room at 11:30.
-Concert of Societat Renaixement Musical de Vinalesa at Plaza de la Virgen de València at 12:00.
– Valencian dances and music show at 19:00 in the Valencia City Hall square.
-The opening day of La Batlia and Els Scala palaces, the headquarters of the Provincial Council. From 10 am to 6 pm.
9 October
– Public procession at the Town Hall square at 12 noon. At 12:45 arrive at the cathedral, where you will be greeted by the Archbishop to celebrate the Te Deum.
– Fireworks castle on the Alameda de València promenade at 00:00.
ALICANTE
7 and 8 October
-Children’s games in Gabriel Miró square in Alicante from 9 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm. Balloon bending and various handicrafts will be done.
8 October
– Concert at Esplanade at 12 noon.
9 October
– Children’s games in Gabriel Miró Square from 9 am to 14 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm.
– Fireworks castle at the Port at 00:00.
ELCHE
7 and 8 October
Children’s activities in Plaza del Algeps and Plaza de Castilla from 9 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm.
8 October
The concert by the Sones de Sax Music Education Ensemble will start at 20.00 at Plaça de Baix in Elche.
9 October
The firework castle will start at 00:00 as the end of the party that will be thrown from the railway bridge.
