Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the European Union is taking a long break from the process of developing new anti-Russian sanctions. This was reported by TASS.
“We need to intensify work on the new EU sanctions package,” he said.
According to the head of state, it took too long to suspend the implementation of sanctions after the 11th sanctions package.
Zelensky also noted that the European Union should impose new sanctions not only on the Russian Federation, but also on Iran for its aid to the Russian Federation.
Earlier, in his speech to the foreign ministers of EU countries, Zelensky in the name Integrating the training of Ukrainian F-16 pilots into the EU training mission. He also emphasized the need to strengthen the country’s air defense before the onset of winter.
