Biden commented on Congress’s decision on the government financing project 04:39

US President Joe Biden said the country “under no circumstances” can afford to stop providing further aid to Ukraine after Congress passed a temporary government funding project. This was reported by RIA News.

According to him, although the Speaker of the US House of Representatives and the majority of Congress support Ukraine, this agreement does not include new financing to continue providing aid to Kiev.

“We cannot allow the US support for Ukraine to be interrupted under any circumstances,” Biden emphasized.

He added that he expected McCarthy to remain “fully committed” to continuing to provide the assistance Kiev needs “at this critical moment.”

Previously US Senate accepted The project to finance the government without allocating money to Ukraine, thus accepting the demands of the Republicans.

Before that, the US House of Representatives had passed a 45-day funding draft from the Cabinet that did not provide aid to Ukraine.

Previously USA and Ukraine started Negotiations on security guarantees for Kiev.
