Stanisław Żaryn referred to the latest text from Onet.pl, which accuses the current authorities of the so-called visa scandal. The Deputy Minister of the Coordinator of Special Services analyzed individual fragments of the text.
Żaryn refers to the text entitled: New facts about the Onet.pl visa scandal. ‘The security of Poland and Europe placed in the hands of an intermediary from India’
The Government Plenipotentiary for the Security of the Information Space of the Republic of Poland draws attention to “building an atmosphere of suspicion”.
Once again the media – this time Onet.pl – contained an internally contradictory text about irregularities in the issuance of certain visas to Poland. An attempt is being made to manipulate the Poles in this matter. At the beginning of the text – a serious opinion of the former head of the Home Army, G. Małecki, about the beginning of hiring intermediaries in accepting visa applications by Polish institutions, which “should set off alarm bells.” This creates an atmosphere of distrust and indicates that the matter is serious. However, the editors did not consider it reasonable to follow this example. The decision to use middlemen was taken during the PO-PSL government. The first contracts were concluded in 2011. However, Onet prefers to argue that cooperation with intermediaries burdens PiS
– writes Żaryn.
In the next step, statements and suggestions are presented that the work of intermediaries in India is associated with massive corruption and the purchase of visas by foreigners. The text builds the message that the Polish state had no control over anything. However, in the next paragraph you will read that as many as 90 percent of applications submitted in India were rejected. Only 10 percent of visa applications resulted in a positive decision. The author of the text himself admits that the system was under control and that there was no automation or massive scale. Despite this, one source is quoted confirming the enormous scale of the practice in India alone. However, the text looks as if the author himself did not believe in the statements he quotes
– he adds.
Stimulate emotions
Stanisław Żaryn also writes about attempts to stir up emotions around the case.
For several weeks now, texts have appeared in the media that, contrary to the facts and even violating the principles of logic and internal coherence, try to arouse emotions about irregularities in the issuance of visas. This is an incidental case that was discovered by the CBA and is being dealt with. Nevertheless, the subject is inflated into political needs because of political needs. This is done, among other things, with the help of: foreign entities, which cause real damage to the Republic of Poland – for example through absurd accusations that Poland is the main cause of Europe’s migration problems
– we are reading.
