“The choice is between a free, developing, sovereign Poland, and between a Poland that will be subject to outside influences,” former Prime Minister and PiS Vice President Beata Szydło said on Saturday in Więcbork (Kujawsko-Pomeranian Voivodeship).

The former Prime Minister took part in the election meeting organized by the Head of the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland Paweł Szrot, the first candidate on the PiS list in the Bydgoszcz district (No. 4).
Szydło pointed out that we are at a moment in the history of our homeland and Europe that will determine the fate of all of us, the fate of Poland, but these are also changes that will occur in Europe in the coming decades. She argued that you should therefore vote for PiS candidates in the parliamentary elections.

The former Prime Minister emphasized that this could be an EU in which conditions will be dictated by the likes of Germany, Brussels will impose even more burdens and obligations, and in Poland there will be no government that will be able to say ‘we won’t do that’. agree with it.” She emphasized that you must be able to say ‘no’ and then there is an opportunity for Poland and the entire EU.
I am talking about this based on my current experience in the European Parliament, but also based on my experience as Prime Minister, when I had the opportunity to participate in debates at European level, where I saw bad solutions being pushed for Poland , but solutions that Germany, for example, wanted. I saw how Chancellor (Angela) Merkel pushed the project of bringing illegal emigrants to Europe, while the Pole Donald Tusk, then head of the European Council, agreed and endorsed it.

Szydło emphasized that she had no illusions that if Tusk became prime minister again, his policies would not change because he understood Poland’s interests. She argued that according to Tusk, Poland’s interests should be subordinated to Brussels and Germany.
We say very clearly that Poland is and will be a member of the EU, but Poland is the same member of the EU and has the same rights and obligations as all other Member States. The election meeting was also attended by the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Mikołaj Bogdanowicz, candidate for the Senate in the Inowrocław constituency (No. 10), and Grażyna Szabelska, who ran for the Sejm from third place in the Bydgoszcz constituency.
