Tomasz Siemoniak decided to defend Agnieszka Holland’s film. According to him, criticism of ‘The Green Border’ is unjustified because ‘we are dealing with fiction’. The former head of the Department of Defense also jokingly tried to say that we should approach “Star Wars” the same way.
Siemoniak shared his opinion on Radio Zet. A former minister in the PO-PSL government said the Dutch film was just fiction.
However, everyone should understand that we are talking about a feature film. You may agree or disagree, but we are dealing with fiction
– he said.
“Star Wars” by Siemoniak
Siemoniak also referred to the words of Border Guard spokeswoman Anna Michalska, who spoke of “the work of the Netherlands”.
Holland’s film is completely detached from reality. It shows the guards as a formation of almost murderers.
The politician decided this was the right time to mock:
So why don’t we say about “Star Wars” that it’s also disconnected from reality because there are no giant, walking, talking apes that can pilot spaceships?
– He asked.
Nothing, just tears from the sides… This is the level of PO politicians.
