Armenia explained what is needed to achieve permanent peace with Azerbaijan

Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Edmon Marukyan said that trust must be re-established to ensure permanent peace between Baku and Yerevan. This was reported by TASS.

According to Marukyan, for this, Azerbaijan must release the prisoners of war and withdraw its soldiers to the 1975 borders.

“In order to ensure permanent peace, trust must be established and Azerbaijan must withdraw its soldiers from Armenian territory to the borders determined in 1975. “Also, Azerbaijan has not achieved the process of exchanging all prisoners of war, and then it kidnaps new prisoners of war and organizes some kind of trials,” the ambassador shared.

He added that this process cannot be one-sided and that Baku must take steps of confidence against similar steps from Yerevan.
