We want to show how many promises we have kept. Credibility must be the basis of good policy, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki emphasized on Facebook. He added that if the voters trust him, he will continue the work to strengthen Silesia so that Silesia will become a beautiful part of the Republic of Poland.
“I want to continue the work to strengthen Silesia”
In his podcast on Facebook, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki referred to his visit to Silesia and the presentation of the Silesian list of candidates for Law and Justice in the upcoming elections.
If the voters trust me, I want to continue to strengthen Silesia so that Silesia becomes an ever stronger, prouder and more beautiful part of the Republic of Poland, which will be the envy of other countries of the European Union. This is happening to a great extent both in terms of security and economic security, but we still have many grand plans for Silesia. We want to show our vision of the future and our Law and Justice team, which will fight in district 31, my district of Katowice, for this better Poland
said Morawiecki.
He recalled his recent visits to Morzyce and Kruszwica. He noted that he was there to show investments in smaller towns.
To tell people that Kruszwica and small, medium-sized cities are more important to us than Berlin, Paris or Brussels, than directives and orders that come from there
he stressed.
“There has never been an investment like this before”
He pointed out that wherever he goes, whether the mayor or vogt is from Civic Platform or PSL, or from Law and Justice, or from the Independent Commission, he hears that “there has never been such investments.”
Ask your local government officials, mayors, councilors and city presidents if government funds for investment were ever allocated to local governments to a greater extent than they are today. I know the answer, but I want you to find out
Morawiecki asked the listeners.
He added that for the PiS government, investments in such cities are “forgotten under Civic Platform rule” as a hallmark.
Roads, schools, modernization of roads, bridges, detours, bypasses, traffic safety, fire stations, community centers are only a selected part of major local investments, however important for all Poles, wherever they live
he switched.
Free laptops for fourth graders
Referring to Eurostat data, he pointed out that Poland is ahead of other countries, “the country has one of the strongest economic growth rates since before the pandemic until this year.” He added that it is also digital Poland, Poland of advanced technologies.
For this to happen, our children must learn about the digital world from an early age (…) use a computer, use good programs, learn everything that shows competences, about the opportunities in the labor market for our young people later, if they reach adulthood, mature
noted the prime minister.
He also recalled that the PiS government is fulfilling another promise and that “in the coming days and weeks” free laptops and free computers will go to fourth graders.
“Credibility must be the basis of good policy.”
Not everything went as it should, but we want to show how many promises we have kept. Because credibility must be the basis of good policy. Without credibility, nothing in politics would matter. This is why Civic Platform politicians used to say “promise twice and deliver once”, but this is not good policy. Beware of such politicians
concluded Morawiecki.
