Former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, who served as Secretary of Energy and the United States’ Permanent Representative to the United Nations under President Bill Clinton, has died at the age of 75. Reported by this TV channel CNN.

He was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1983, representing New Mexico’s third district. Richardson later served as the US Ambassador to the UN and Secretary of Energy before being elected governor of New Mexico in 2002. He served two terms before leaving office in 2011.
