PiS member Zbigniew Kuźmiuk sent an interpellation to the European Commission about Donald Tusk’s statement on the release of funds from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO).
Is Donald Tusk collaborating with the EU institutions to block KPO’s Polish money?
With regard to the statement by Donald Tusk, former President of the European Council and former President of the European People’s Party, who stated during a public address in Sopot on 27 August 2023: “I pledge that the day after the elections I will from the National Reconstruction Plan and everyone will feel that”, explain whether such statements have a legal and substantive basis
Kuźmiuk turned to the European Commission.
Clarification needed
Does this mean that Donald Tusk has statements from any European institution that if his party, Platforma Obywatelska, wins the elections, the European Commission will unblock the funds from this program for Poland?
– we read in the interview.
The MEP drew the attention of the European Commission to the fact that the electoral campaign is underway in Poland, and that the issue of the FPA is one of the topics being discussed in the ongoing debates. Therefore, Kuźmiuk called for urgent clarification of this issue by the European Commission.
