The Ambassador of the Russian Federation Sergei Andreyev appeared at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting at the State Department started at 10am and was very short
– told PAP Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Paweł Jabłoński.
Bold speech by the Russian ambassador
Andreyev himself said after leaving the ministry building that he rejected “all accusations made by Poland against President Vladimir Putin”.
We talked about Polish policy towards Ukraine and towards Russia. I rejected all of Poland’s accusations against President Vladimir Putin. They have no justification
said the Russian ambassador
We notice a lack of mutual understanding and diametrically opposed approaches to contemporary politics and 20th century history. Eastern Polish lands are the historical territories of Russia
– added.
Putin’s raving
On Friday evening, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced that the Russian ambassador to Poland, Sergei Andreev, would be summoned to the foreign ministry.
The historical truth is undisputed; the Russian ambassador will be summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Stalin was a war criminal, guilty of the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Poles. Historical truth is not in dispute. The Ambassador of the Russian Federation will be summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
This was announced by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Friday.

Earlier on Friday, Russian television broadcast Vladimir Putin’s speech from the Security Council meeting.
As for the Polish leadership, they probably want to form a coalition under the +NATO umbrella+ and become directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine, and then tear off+ a larger piece for themselves, to restore what they consider to be historic territories: present-day western Ukraine
he said, among others, Putin. He also stated that “it was thanks to the Soviet Union, thanks to Stalin’s position, that Poland got considerable territories in the West, the lands of Germany.”
It is exactly so: the western territory of present-day Poland is Stalin’s gift to the Poles. Have our friends in Warsaw forgotten? We will remind you
said Putin.
