British Security Secretary Tom Tugendhat said China has closed all secret police stations in the country. It has been reported Reuters.
According to the politician, British law enforcement checked information on the non-governmental human rights organization Safeguard Defenders and learned that secret Chinese police departments were operating at three British facilities.
Tugendhat added that the British side did not reveal any illegal activities of the PRC at these facilities. After the British Foreign Office contacted the Chinese Embassy and said that such centers should not operate in the country in any way. Chinese diplomats announced the closing of polling stations.
