Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Yaroslav Nilov said that the Russian market will independently reduce the working week and this issue can no longer be regulated by law. It has been reported URA.RU.
According to him, the Russian labor market will eventually switch to a four-day work week, and some employees have already switched to this form of work, based on the fact that they work remotely.
“But today there should be no regulation – this is dangerous. The most important thing for us is that the citizens do not experience loss of income when we consider the piece-rate workers. In order not to reduce labor productivity, businesses were not closed because their work would be unprofitable. Thus, unemployment would not increase, inflation would not accelerate, that is, the price of products and services would not rise. ” said Nilov.
He added that there will be specialties that will continue to work according to the old rules even if they work 4 days a week.
Formerly the Association of Entrepreneurs for the Promotion of Commercial Patriotism “Avanti” sent A call to the head of the Ministry of Labor, Anton Kotyakov, with a proposal to start a six-day working week in Russia.
