State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin addressed the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin with a proposal to legally provide preferential admission to universities for participants in a special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service State DumaReferring to the letter of Volodin on the 2022 activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights to Mishustin after the discussion at the plenary session of the State Duma on May 17.
In the same letter, it was mentioned that the children of doctors who died from covid were admitted to medical schools without examination.
According to Volodin, all political party groups represented in the State Duma and Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova are united in the desire to legally establish preferential conditions for SVO participants when entering higher educational institutions or transferring from paid education. from the form of education to the form of budget education.
“Given the social importance of these issues and the consolidated position of State Duma deputies, I ask you to instruct us to examine these initiatives,” the letter reads.
Volodin added that the relevant committees of the State Duma were instructed to take an active role in this work.
