Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has decided to initiate the country’s withdrawal from the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. He told this to reporters during a briefing. TASS.
“I have decided to initiate the process of withdrawing the Republic of Moldova from the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly agreement,” Grosu said.
The head of parliament described the CIS structures as “useless” for Moldova.
According to him, this decision was taken after consultations with the citizens of the country, representatives of the ruling Party of Action and Solidarity, and President Maia Sandu.
On May 11, the head of the Moldovan parliament, Igor Grosu, made a speech to the deputies approved Withdrawal from the agreement regarding the work of the Mir TV company in its country. Licenses of six TV channels (RTR-Moldova, First in Moldova, NTV-Moldova, Akcent-TV, TV-6, Orhei-TV) were suspended.
