Nebenzia seeks terms to extend grain deal 19:40

Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said Russia would consider extending the grain deal after 60 days only if it makes progress in introducing Russian food and fertilizer to world markets. The letter he wrote in telegraph channel Published by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Nebenzya also demanded that Western countries connect Rosselkhozbank to SWIFT.

On March 18, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the extension of the grain agreement, which expired today.

Later, Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov announced that the grain agreement was extended for 120 days. He announced this on his social networks.

On the eve of the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow has extended the agreement by 60 days.
