According to attorney Bartosz Lewandowski, the initial eight lawsuits were filed in district courts on behalf of regional and district prosecutors who claim they were unlawfully denied the chance to oversee Public Prosecutor’s Office units due to actions by Attorney General Adam Bodnar and the so‑called Acting National Prosecutor’s Office, led by Prosecutor Jacek Bilewicz. These allegations align with the findings reported by the wPolityce.pl portal.
It is important to recall that Prosecutor Jacek Bilewicz contends that Adam Bodnar unlawfully appointed the Acting National Prosecutor and removed the main investigators in Poland, including ten regional and district prosecutors. Despite what they view as lawlessness by state authorities, these prosecutors have not given up their efforts.
Recently, the wPolityce.pl portal highlighted that Prosecutor Mariusz Dubowski, who was dismissed from the post of District Prosecutor in Warsaw, filed a lawsuit claiming loss of the position as Head of the Main District. It was reported that other prosecutors who were dismissed under what is described as improper circumstances were preparing to pursue similar legal steps. The new filings appear to corroborate earlier reports.
