We submit an application to the Court of Audit to audit government subsidies for the purchase of real estate by various foundations and associations; the future government will check all subsidies, in case of irregularities, decisions will be taken on their return – MPs from the left – Krzysztof Śmiszek and Andrzej Szejna announced. Przemysław Czarnek, the head of the MEiN, reacted to the actions of the left.
Links submits an application to the High Court of Audit
At a press conference in the Sejm, MP Szejna – citing media reports of government subsidies – stated that “Minister (Education Przemysław) Czarnek and PiS already see today that they will lose the election.”
But why, at the taxpayer’s expense, during the crisis and inflation, during the problems associated with high loan amortization, why do these gentlemen, I’m talking about PiS, want to line their own pockets and the pockets of their families, friends, political activists?
said the left-wing MP.
That is why we decided to submit an application to the Supreme Court to conduct an analysis and audit of the program – not the development of infrastructure, but the program to milk the state budget and the taxpayer’s pocket
Saina said. According to him, “Today, NIK operates in an independent, law-abiding manner and holds PiS accountable.”
The deputy added that the left is also considering turning to the prosecutor’s office in the near future.
Although we make everything dependent on the final analysis and decision of the High Court of Auditors, because today it is the institution that can give us an instrument, and I would even say a weapon in the fight against the illegal, you could say – even the thieving PiS government and decisions that aim to free up proprietary lands
Sheena insisted.
Krzysztof Śmiszek added that “the milk plus program is entering its final phase”.
For these six, seven, eight months before the election, PiS is securing its back, filling pockets for itself and collaborating foundations, foundations, associations just to make a soft landing, to secure itself for the future, to do something have something to come back to in the event of defeat, so that in the event of defeat they have something to monetize their resources and continue their policies
said Smiszek.
As he added, the Left applied to the Supreme Court to verify the correctness of spending public money “on those Byzantine properties which shall be owned by foundations, foundations and associations”.
And we are also announcing today – all subsidies provided by Minister (of Culture) Piotr Gliński or Minister Czarnek, as well as other ministers, will be closely monitored by the new ministers of the new government
said the politician from the left.
He announced that if even the slightest irregularity is found, the ministers of the new cabinet will take administrative decisions to reimburse all or part of the subsidy.
January 17 Katarzyna Lubnauer and Krystyna Szumilas (KO) announced that they have conducted a parliamentary inspection of the competition organized last year by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for funding for “development of the infrastructural potential of entities supporting the education and and education system”.
They said that the ministry has earmarked a total of PLN 40 million for the competition. A maximum of PLN 5 million could be obtained. The biggest beneficiary of the competition, as they emphasized, was the Polska Wielki Projekt Foundation. Katarzyna Lubnauer pointed out that the program board of the foundation includes: Minister of Culture and National Heritage Piotr Gliński, as well as PiS members Zdzisław Krasnodębski and Ryszard Legutko.
This foundation received PLN 5 million for the purchase of real estate, namely a villa in the Mokotów district of Warsaw, which was purchased from Polski Holding Nieruchomości. I would like to point out that this is a company where 72% of the capital is Treasury capital, under the supervision of the Minister (State Assets of Jacek – PAP) Sasin
Lubnauer said. She added that after five years, the villa can be used for any purpose, including commercial purposes.
Response to opposition objections
The spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Education and National Heritage, Adrianna Całus-Polak, who was asked to comment on the allegations of the MPs, pointed out that the acquisition of a seat by the foundation will help support the projects which it carries out, including: Congress Poland Big Project, Big Project for Generations or Poland Big Project in the regions.
In addition, the Foundation plans further activities, including the construction of a recording studio, which will allow, among other things, to create innovative educational content. All projects carried out by the Foundation are non-commercial, free and have educational values and potential, and reaching young citizens covered by the education system is one of the main challenges that the Foundation sets itself
she noted.
In her answer she also pointed out that the Polska Wielki Projekt Congress develops student volunteerism. For them, she said, “it’s not only an opportunity to shape Poland’s most important patriotic congress, but also to establish contacts with the world’s leading thinkers.”
Minister Przemysław Czarna and the head of his political cabinet, Radosław Brzózka, also responded to the allegations made by the deputies from the left.
“Wille Czarnka” is called: the SIES sensory integration workshop, a facility for children and young people at the Autism Help Center in Biała Podlaska…
– wrote the head of the Ministry of Education and Science.
“Minister @CzarnekP’s villas are called: an integrative square for learning, playing and rehabilitating with sensory pathways, special education equipment and educational center in Wierzchosławice-Dwudniaki…
– wrote Radosław Brzózka, head of the political cabinet of Minister Czarnek.
