Polish TV channel TVP 1 showed Western Ukraine as part of Poland in its weather forecast 16:00

Polish TV channel TVP 1 The weather forecast showed western Ukraine as part of Poland.

The map shows not only the Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk regions traditionally belonging to Western Ukraine, but also the Ukrainian Volyn, Chernivtsi, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Vinnitsa and Transcarpathian regions of Ukraine in red and with the inscription Polska.

It is noteworthy that most of the Rivne lands, as well as the Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi, Vinnitsa and Transcarpathian regions, were never part of the Second Commonwealth – so Poland calls the Republic of Poland, which was restored in 1918 and existed until 1939. .

Earlier, Alexei Polishchuk, director of the second department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the CIS countries, said that Poland has launched a more active development in Western Ukraine, including its military.

He recalled that since the 1990s, the Polish authorities continued their cultural and economic expansion in the post-Soviet space, and above all in Ukraine.
