Uzbekistan plans to ban pornography propaganda and “unnatural relationships between people of the same sex” in the media. It has been reported Sputnik Uzbekistan.
The publication states that such a norm will be included in the new Information Code of the country.
Calls for drastic changes in Uzbekistan’s constitutional order and territorial integrity and the dissemination of information constituting state secrets in the media will also be prohibited. The law also provides for the prohibition of war, violence and terrorist propaganda, as well as drugs.
The Draft Information Code has already been approved by 50 ministries and departments of Uzbekistan. The debate will last until December 29.
