US National Intelligence Chief Haynes: States do not believe in power change in Russia, Iran and China 02:06

Director of National Intelligence Avril Haynes said the United States believes protests that could threaten officials in the Russian Federation are impossible. It has been reported TASS.

“Maybe there will be a more critical attitude towards what happened, but nothing that could threaten the authorities,” he said.

Thus, Haynes answered the question about the possibility of large-scale protests in Russia.

He stressed that the US does not consider a possible change of power in Iran, where widespread protests are taking place.

According to him, they see in national intelligence that governments do not perceive what is happening in countries as an immediate threat to their stability and suppress protests.

“On the other hand, we look at what’s going on in Iran: they are facing serious challenges that increase the risks of economic instability and unrest,” says Haynes.

Former Director of National Intelligence statedThat the United States has yet to receive military aid from China to Russia, but Beijing is supporting Moscow in other ways.
