President Vladimir Putin meets In Novo-Ogaryovo with mothers of participants in the special operation in Ukraine – mobilized, contract workers, volunteers and regular military personnel. The event coincides with Mother’s Day, celebrated in Russia on the last Sunday of November. This year it is November 27.
17 women, including those whose sons were killed or seriously injured in the clashes, attended the meeting.
In his opening speech, the President explained that the meeting had to be held because he wanted to know the information “first hand”, “to hear the assessment”.
“A lot of information flows to me from various sources, but this is a completely different matter – these are your assessments, opinions, ideas, suggestions. “I will try to make sure that everything we are going to talk about today is taken into account to the maximum extent and is used in real life,” he said.
The politician also urged women not to trust the information spread on the internet as there are many “fake and information attacks”. “It is clear that life is more complex and diverse than what is shown on TV screens and even on the Internet, nothing can be trusted there. <...> “Information is also a weapon of struggle, and information attacks are one of the most effective forms of struggle,” Putin said.
The head of state said that he communicated directly with some of the participants in the special operation, “who were even surprised by their mood, their attitude to the issue.”
“They didn’t expect these calls from me, through their mother, by the way. That gives me every reason to say they’re heroes. That’s right, ”says on the Kremlin website.
The President added that for mothers whose sons are in a war zone, Mother’s Day is “associated with feelings of anxiety and worry” and that those who lost their children today do not turn their tongues for “official, standard things”.
“I want you to know that I myself, the entire country’s government, share this pain, and we understand that nothing can replace the loss of a child, especially a mother whose birth we owe. squeezed, fed, ”she said.
After the opening speech of the President, the broadcast of the meeting was interrupted and then the meeting was conducted without a camera. Short video clips from the event later surfaced.
“The Russian Federation is not at war with the inhabitants of Ukraine”
During the conversation, Putin noted that Russia is at war not with the inhabitants of Ukraine, but with “those who use them as cannon fodder.” “Unlike what we have to deal with, and in that sense we have to fight not with them, but with those who supply them with everything and pay them, using them as cannon fodder. They don’t take the losses into account without exaggeration, they don’t take them into account at all,” he said.
The Chairman emphasized that the NWO participants were not divided into groups according to their nationality, but helped each other, realizing that their lives depend on mutual assistance. “I know the guys over there don’t divide themselves into some caste. All nationalities are equal, everyone helps each other and understands that their lives depend on this mutual aid and support, that is what is very important. And they are very worthy of this service, ”said the politician.
Russia “feels like it’s doing the right thing” by defending Donbas, the official said, adding that “Russia’s reunification with the Donbas should have been sooner.” “Perhaps so many deaths among civilians, so many children would not have died under the bombardment,” Putin said.
One of the mothers said that three of her four sons have already joined the NWO.
“I think with horror: now the youngest is turning 17, 18 and this is going to go,” the woman said.
“No need, no need. Enough. <...> It seems to me that one of the sons should also return, they have already fought,” replied Putin.
Putin pointed out that Russia is a unique civilization where people of different nationalities, ethnic groups and religions have lived side by side for millennia. The head of state ended the meeting philosophically: “The important thing is that we are all mortal, one day we will leave this world, the question is how we live.”
