The plan of the drama emerged in 1989 at the USSR. The Director of Culture House Vera (Stulova) organizes the first beauty contest in the country to help young girls believe in themselves and discover new expectations. But two years later, dreams collapse: more unity, with it – and no money. Vera cannot find new sponsors to save the competition. And only at that time, with the help of beauty, the desire to change the country has become a bargaining money for rich traders.
The “Beauty” scenario “was written by Alexei Gravitsky, the author of the Life on the Call” hit show. In addition to Sutulova, including castes: Nikolai Schraiber, Alena Khmelnitskaya, Christina Korbut, Evgeny Sidikhin and others.
“My father was a civilian pilot and lost everything in 1991: work, country, belief and himself. And I remember these sensations very well. There was no country – and I think, this is a series about the attempt to create something empty for the world,” he said.
Actress Alena Khmelnitskaya admitted that the fashion models, which are close to her in the project, played the role of shows for Catherine.
“My mother worked as a choreographer, put the program on the fashion house in the fashion house Vyacheslav Zaitsev – I often visited a young man, watched how the choreographer works and fell in love with this closed, magical beauty world, lived according to their own laws,” he said.
