Zelensky urges Ukrainians in occupied territories to avoid Russian facilities
President Volodymyr Zelensky reminded residents of Crimea as well as people in the Donbas and Kharkiv regions to stay clear of Russian military installations amid a wave of recent blasts in the area. He stressed the importance of steering clear of sites where Russian forces store ammunition and equipment, and where weapons are kept. The president urged everyone to exercise caution and stay vigilant in the vicinity of these locations.
He explained that the recent incidents across Crimea point to coordinated efforts to disrupt the invaders’ logistics and supply chains. Explosions and damage to ammunition depots, command posts, and other critical military infrastructure are seen as targeted moves intended to degrade the enemy’s operational capacity. Zelensky framed these events as warnings to the local population to avoid dangerous areas and to remain within safe zones as authorities assess the situation and respond to any evolving threats.
