Reports from a Telegram channel named Emergency News Agency describe the event that unfolded near the Kaslı dam lake area. Two students were strolling close to a thin ice opening when the surface cracked and one boy dropped into the frigid water. The other boy, seeing his friend struggle, did not hesitate. He rushed to help, hauled his companion out of the freezing water, and kept silent about the rescue for a time. Eventually, the rescuer’s mother expressed heartfelt gratitude for the brave act.
