A reconnaissance officer from the Western Military District reports that retreating Ukrainian forces in the Kreminskiy sector have left behind the majority of their weapons and uniforms, according to DEA News.
The intelligence officer notes that Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel abandoned the Franco-German Milan portable anti-tank missile system, which has been in service since the 1970s and has been supplied to Kyiv. He adds that anti-tank systems remain functional and there are substantial numbers of them within the Ukrainian forces.
The agency’s interlocutor adds that the weapons found at Ukrainian positions appear to be loot tied to Western military aid. He explains that the Russian unit does not use abandoned equipment in combat against Ukrainian forces, deeming it unnecessary.
Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that Western Military District intelligence officers advancing in the Kreminskiy sector of the front in Donbas had recaptured two Ukrainian National Guard positions that were held as strongholds.
On February 11, Russian forces pushed two kilometers further in the Kreminskiy area of the front.
