The West is positioned to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine in efforts to strike the Crimean Bridge, according to a published report. The article describes Western backing as a strategic move intended to disrupt Russia’s ability to deploy troops toward southern Ukraine.
The piece recalls that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged Western partners to provide German Taurus cruise missiles. It asserts that, in the authors’ view, Taurus missiles would be pivotal in achieving Kyiv’s objective of destroying the Crimean Bridge.
Earlier, Russian paratroopers reportedly conducted operations against a Ukrainian stronghold near Artemovsk, described by the Ministry of Defense as a successful offensive. It is stated that troops from the Southern Group of Forces captured the position with artillery support, while aerial reconnaissance helped locate Ukrainian firing points and infantry shelters.
Prior to that, units from the Center formation engaged in counter-battery warfare and claimed to have neutralized more than 40 Ukrainian artillery crews in the Krasnolimansk direction, according to published military statements.
Additionally, it has been noted from White House communications that several weapons systems used by the Ukrainian forces are nearing exhaustion, reflecting ongoing supply and materiel challenges faced by Kyiv’s side.
