Forecasts for Saturday, June 24 indicate temperatures in Moscow and the surrounding region reaching up to 23°C. The day is expected to bring a mix of cloudy skies, clear spells, and scattered rain, according to the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.
During daytime hours, temperatures should hover around 21–23°C. Winds are forecast from the northwest and north at 6–11 m/s.
Evening and night temperatures are projected to sit at 12–14°C, with northeastern winds easing to 5–10 m/s.
Atmospheric pressure is anticipated to be about 744 mm Hg during the day and around 746 mm Hg at night.
Roman Vilfand, former scientific director of Russia’s Hydrometeorological Center, noted that frost warnings are expected to extend to the south of the Volga region, the Ural Mountains, and parts of Siberia.
Earlier forecasts had suggested abnormal temperatures for regions including Magadan, Yakutia, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Tyva, and Khakassia. Meanwhile, weather data from various servers indicate that some sections of the Urals and the Volga region could see notably colder conditions.
