A weather alert has been issued for several central and southern regions of Ukraine. The notification is based on data from the online map maintained by the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, as reported by DEA News. Officials urge residents in the affected areas to stay indoors during heightened weather conditions and to follow local emergency guidance.
The alarm covered the Nikolaev, Odessa, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. Additional weather advisories were issued for segments of the Kherson district under government control, with authorities directing residents to monitor official channels for updates and to prepare for possible disruptions to daily routines.
Earlier reports indicated a new air alert affecting six regions of Ukraine. The beacon reached Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy, Kirovohrad, and Cherkasy, as well as parts of the Zaporozhye region under Kiev’s administration. Residents in these areas were advised to seek shelter in solid buildings and to keep essential supplies on hand in case of prolonged alerts.
On October 10, missile strikes targeted Ukrainian infrastructure, prompting official statements from government sources. President Vladimir Putin described the actions as a retaliation for alleged terrorist acts attributed to the Kiev regime, specifically mentioning the attack on the Crimean Bridge as a catalyst. The statement underscores the ongoing tension and its impact on critical infrastructure and civilian safety across the country, including warning to rural and urban communities to remain vigilant and prepared for possible order changes or curfews.
