The recruitment center for fighters affiliated with the private military company Wagner, located in Perm within the Angel fitness center, has been closed. This development was reported via the fitness center’s page on the social network platform indicated as “in contact.”

Additionally, the agency TASS reported that calls to similar centers in Ulyanovsk and Nizhny Novgorod went unanswered.

In Kazan, by contrast, the Wagner PMC recruitment facility reportedly continues to operate normally, according to the same agency update.

Earlier updates described an incident in St. Petersburg, where in the courtyard of the Trezzini Hotel near the Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin’s offices, a Gazelle vehicle stuffed with cash boxes was discovered.

On the morning of June 24, Wagner PMC forces were seen entering Rostov-on-Don, with photographs showing military equipment and company personnel on the city streets, as reported by TASS. President Vladimir Putin, in a nationwide address, described the events as a form of treachery and emphasized that measures would be taken against anyone who chooses the path of betrayal.

In response, a ministry spokesman stated on behalf of Yevgeny Prigozhin that rumors and videos claiming the Russian Ministry of Defence had attacked Wagner’s rear camps were untrue and constituted informational provocation.

Following these statements, the National Counter-Terrorism Committee announced it had filed a lawsuit over alleged incitement to military rebellion.

These developments are being watched closely by observers who are tracking the evolving situation surrounding the Wagner group, its leadership, and the various regional centers involved. The situation continues to unfold, with officials and security agencies offering statements that attempt to clarify the real sequence of events and to counter misinformation circulating across social networks and other channels. Attribution: TASS, official statements from the Kremlin, and regional authorities have provided the primary information stream amid ongoing inquiries into the allegations surrounding the group and its operations.
