According to Vueling, 93 percent of customers affected by the cancellations have been accommodated on alternative flights or offered coupons or refunds. A small share, about 7 percent, is still weighing options as the airline reports the situation on Saturday. This approach shows the carrier’s effort to minimize inconvenience while managing capacity and communications during a period of strike-related disruption.
At Barcelona airport, a majority of the day’s schedule is expected to go ahead as planned. Specifically, 82 percent of flights, or 135 of the 165 planned, are forecast to operate normally. The airport remains the main hub for many of Vueling’s operations, and the stability of the Barcelona schedule provides some reassurance to passengers and travel planners alike.
Elsewhere in Spain, the pattern mirrors regional variations typical of strike days. In total, 90 percent of scheduled flights are anticipated to operate normally, which corresponds to 189 of 209 planned departures. This regional difference highlights how some bases experience more robust service continuity than others when labor actions affect operations.
International travel follows a slightly different trajectory, with 92 percent of international flights expected to operate as scheduled, equating to 171 of the 185 planned departures. Passengers on international itineraries may still encounter short-notice changes, but the operator has aimed to sustain as much international connectivity as possible during the strike era.
