In Kuzbass, volunteers and police officers are conducting a search for a 7-year-old boy who vanished the day before. The report came from the regional control department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The disappearance occurred in Leninsk-Kuznetsky, with the boy allegedly leaving the fenced area near his home on Yurginskaya Street in the evening and not returning.
Law enforcement quickly mobilized a large-scale search. Department specialists questioned people in the boy’s immediate circle and canvassed potential locations where a missing child might be found. The effort stretched through the night, but no trace of the child emerged by dawn.
Throughout the operation, staff from the Investigative Committee, volunteers, and administrative personnel participated in equal measure.
According to the ministry, over 100 individuals took part in the search and rescue effort.
Authorities reported that the child was wearing a black T-shirt with blue and white stripes, gray shorts featuring green stripes, and black and orange sneakers. He left the house riding a black scooter on the day of the incident.
The Regional Ministry’s Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case related to the incident, with the investigation currently under the supervision of the department’s leadership.
Separately, a separate case notes an incident involving an 18-year-old student who was previously abducted from a Moscow apartment to be taken to Dagestan with his relatives.
