In Volgograd, authorities have been unable to locate a man who disappeared after vacationing with friends since June, a case reported by V1.
The man severed contact with his family on June 28. Relatives say he joined companions at a private residence for a brief rest before continuing his trip. Yet those who were with him that day offer varying accounts of events. One friend claimed the man then went to the seaside in Adler, while another suggested he preferred not to become entangled in the incident and declined to share further details.
According to the missing man’s wife, the Russian godmother filed a statement with the police in relation to the case.
“There is a record with a name and a number. That is all. We contacted the LisaAlert rescue team, but they said they were not actively searching for him and he was not listed as missing by the authorities,” the wife said in an interview with V1.
Police notes indicate a train ticket was issued under the man’s name for a departure on June 30. It remains unclear whether the ticket was used or discarded, and officials have emphasized that the person remained in occasional contact with his family even after leaving the area.
The 34-year-old man lived with his wife and two children. His wife described him as someone who bore a distinctive bear tattoo on his shin and had visible burn marks on his arm and ear. On the day last seen, he was wearing denim shorts paired with a colorful T-shirt.
Earlier reports involving other disappearances in the region mention a nine-year-old girl wearing a black and pink jacket in Kirov; the cases, however, appear unrelated to this Volgograd incident.
