In Volgograd, four underage children threatened workers at a chain store who had suspected them of shoplifting, according to a police source cited by the Telegram channel Rise.
According to the channel, on September 26 a group of boys aged 11 to 13 were suspected by store staff of petty theft. The suspects were taken to an office building, and the police were notified. Store employees said the children initially behaved normally but then became rude and aggressive. At one point the youths produced a stationery knife and scissors, threatening the staff and also hurling insults such as bichugan.
Juvenile affairs inspectors arrived, identified the attackers, and contacted their families. Police stated that all of the children were enrolled in school and were registered with the juvenile commission. Administrative protocols were prepared for the relatives of the boys for failing to meet parental responsibilities.
There were reports of similar youth activity in the Urals ahead of an organized raid on a sex shop, illustrating a broader trend in which younger individuals become involved in confrontational incidents.
