Three police officers were shot in Karachay-Cresentia by unidentified assailants, according to reports from Life News citing a Telegram channel named Shot.

According to the channel, at 23:40 on April 21, a three-member Special Behavioral Investigation team was attacked in Karachaevsk, near the local Nizhny market. The officers were on duty and patrolling the area when unknown gunmen opened fire on them.

From the confrontation, only one officer survived. He was transported to a hospital with gunshot wounds to the hip and back. The deputy platoon commander and another subordinate did not survive. All three had their service weapons and machine guns taken by the attackers.

In response, the region activated its siren plan and convened a staff meeting. A group of bandits was actively being sought by authorities.

Earlier, in Novosibirsk, a man described as inadequately dressed and wearing a robe created a disturbance, confronting young people over a word. The incident occurred at a residence on Nikolai Sotnikov Street. Witnesses described the man as reportedly in an altered or unstable condition, dressed only in revealing clothing and appearing unwell.

Previously in Kazan, another individual attacked delivery couriers without an obvious reason, prompting renewed concerns about public safety for essential workers.

These events underscore ongoing security challenges in multiple regions, highlighting the need for coordinated responses by law enforcement, rapid medical care for the injured, and ongoing outreach to communities to deter violence and protect frontline personnel. [Citation: Telegram channel Shot]
