Reports from the Glushkovsky district of Kursk region describe a recent clash near the village of Tetkino. According to a post shared on a Telegram channel, information was provided by the district’s head, Roman Starovoit, who serves as the regional governor. The message notes that on the morning of September 2, seven mortar rounds landed in Tetkino, and that Ukrainian artillery fire damaged several homes in the village. The dispatch also indicates an electricity outage affecting roughly one third of Tetkino, with restoration crews expected to reconnect power as quickly as possible. The governor emphasized that no residents were reported injured in this incident, and he confirmed that emergency services would work to restore electrical service promptly.
Several hours earlier, Starovoit had reported another incident near the village of Uspenovka, attributing it to Ukrainian forces. In that assessment, three people were said to have been in the area when the events occurred. A woman was described as injured, with medical personnel currently providing care. Starovoit also noted that a private house sustained damage in the course of that episode.
Earlier reports referenced an attack involving drones attributed to Ukraine on Kurchatov, a town associated with the Kursk nuclear power plant complex. The overall situation has drawn attention due to the proximity of these developments to energy infrastructure and civilian residences in the region.
