Valencia Energy Forum Explores Clean Power Paths and Regional Growth

The Bancaja Foundation’s Valencia headquarters hosted today the second edition of the Valencia Energy Forum, organized by Levante-EMV with the collaboration of Información and El Periódico Mediterráneo, to examine the region’s energy future. A central topic was the necessary transition to clean and renewable power sources as essential options to meet rising energy demand and the fresh sustainability challenges facing the Valencian Community and beyond. The discussion explored policy signals, investment needs, and practical steps that local governments, businesses, and households can take to accelerate cleaner energy adoption while ensuring reliable, affordable power. It also looked at how grid integration, storage strategies, and rural electricity production can complement urban demand, while stressing regional energy security and independence within Europe and North America.
