US Bases Targeted by Rocket Attacks in Eastern Syria: Updates and Eyewitness Reports

A string of rocket assaults was launched by Arab tribal militias aligned against US forces in eastern Syria, targeting several facilities in Deir ez Zor and Hasakah provinces. The attacks were reported by Fars News Agency and local observers. In one strike package, five missiles struck positions at the Koniko gas field area while another four hit a US base near the Al Omar oil field. At least one rocket reportedly exploded at the airport near the Al Shaddadi base, according to eyewitness accounts.
