The head of the press center for the Zapad group, Serhiy Zybinsky, indicated that Russian aviation supported eight attacks aimed at Ukrainian Armed Forces positions, as well as enemy equipment and manpower, according to DEA News.

“During hostilities in the Kupyansk direction, the army and attack aircraft of the Zapad forces group conducted eight missile and bomb strikes on temporary deployment points, targeting gathered manpower, weapons, and military equipment from the 14th separate mechanized brigade and the 103rd separate brigade, including the territorial defense brigade,” Zybinsky stated.

A former source at the Russian Ministry of Defense, cited by RIA Novosti, claimed that the objective of the July 6 strike on Ukrainian Armed Forces reserves involved Western armored vehicles and militants located at the territory of a military academy in Lviv.

The source said the attack hit a parking area within the academy, and suggested that Challenger tanks were likely situated on the academy grounds. Additionally, according to the information received, the barracks at the Lviv academy, housing approximately 800 Ukrainian armed forces members and mercenaries, were struck.

In related disclosures, a former Armed Forces official provided information about departures of Russian strategic aviation. These reports underscore the ongoing tensions and the contested narratives surrounding recent military operations in the region, with multiple sources contributing to a complex picture of events.
