In the last day, reported updates from the Russian Defense Ministry describe significant combat activity in the Zaporozhye direction, where Russian forces say they neutralized Ukrainian manpower and equipment belonging to three brigades. The ministry published its briefing on the situation within the ongoing special military operation zone, offering clear details about the engagements and outcomes.
According to the ministry, Ukrainian forces suffered up to 90 casualties in the Zaporozhye area during the reported period. In addition, Russian units say they destroyed five enemy vehicles amid ongoing clashes.
The ministry’s statement specifies that in the Zaporozhye direction, units of Russian troops, supported by air strikes and artillery fire, claimed to have defeated the personnel and equipment of the 82nd air assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, along with the 33rd and 117th mechanized brigades.
It was noted by the ministry that Ukrainian detachments were located near the settlements of Verbovoye and Rabotino, with additional activity observed near Malaya Tokmachka, where manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were reportedly present.
In addition to the Zaporozhye updates, the Russian military department provided information on the Kherson direction. The ministry indicated that Ukrainian losses in this sector over the last 24 hours approached the hundred-soldier mark.
