This incident in Alicante’s Northern District involved four teenagers, aged 20 to 25, who faced accusations of violent theft, drug trafficking, and reception. It is alleged that one of them stole a mobile phone and a wallet, while another man who tried to buy drugs from them was harmed in the process.

The investigation started after a robbery report from a person who said he was attacked by three individuals, who grabbed his phone and wallet and used force against him.

The complainant claimed he approached the trio to purchase narcotics and was assaulted by the sellers, who also took his cell phone and wallet.

Alicante’s Northern District Police Station opened a probe, and hours after the event, officers from the Provincial Citizens’ Security Brigade detained a man who had been seen wandering near the Alicante train station and found a mobile phone on him.

The individual could not demonstrate ownership of the phone, which later was confirmed to be the victim’s device.

All four detainees have prior records for similar offenses. While being transported to the courthouse, a 23-year-old man who had been taken into custody was released on parole following his police statement.
