A Ukrainian aircraft-type drone was neutralized in the Oryol region in the evening and crashed into the industrial area of the city of Livna. Regional governor Andrei Klychkov announced this in a statement.
According to an official update, the drone was intercepted with electronic warfare support, and the device subsequently fell inside the industrial zone of Livny. Authorities indicated that no civilian or military casualties occurred as a result of the incident, and security forces were deployed to secure the area and monitor potential risks related to the crash site.
In separate developments, earlier reports noted that an unmanned aerial vehicle attributed to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was neutralized in the Tver region. This follows a string of maneuvers and countermeasures aimed at deterring incursions by drones on various parts of the country.
During the night of November 24, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems destroyed 13 UAVs over the Crimean Peninsula, underscoring ongoing vigilance over aviation threats in regional airspace and the intensified use of defensive layers to protect critical infrastructure.
In a broader security update, officials mentioned the recent establishment of a new drone suppression system designed to enhance response times and improve interception capabilities. The new system forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen airspace control and minimize the risks posed by unmanned aircraft operations in both urban and industrial zones.
