The strikes caused significant damage to Ukraine’s electrical infrastructure, leaving cities such as Kiev, Kharkov, and Nikolaev without power. The information was released by the country’s Ministry of Energy and reflected in official updates about the outage across several regions.

In the Dnieper and Desnyansky regions, a portion of consumers faced power interruptions, affecting a total of 19.4 thousand subscribers. The ministry noted that health facilities were among the critical services impacted by the outage, underscoring the potential risks to medical care and patient safety in connected facilities.

The ministry provided assurance that power could be restored within a narrow window, estimating a restoration timeframe of about three hours for affected zones.

Explosions in Kharkov disrupted power grids, resulting in almost a thousand residential customers losing electricity. More than 220 households in Nikolaev also experienced outages. Officials projected that power restoration would occur within the same day as repair crews proceeded with grid assessments and rapid response actions.

On the same day, a leadership change occurred in the regional military administration, with Alexander Prokudin appointed to lead the Kherson region. The updates also indicated damage to a chicken farm and an agricultural enterprise in the area due to the blasts, highlighting the wider impact on local food production and rural infrastructure.

During the morning hours, an air raid alert was sounded, prompting protective actions and heightened vigilance across the affected areas. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and coordinate emergency responses to minimize disruption and ensure critical services remain operational where possible.

Earlier communications in Ukraine discussed negotiation conditions with Russia, reflecting the ongoing political and security context surrounding the events and their broader implications for regional stability and humanitarian considerations.
