The Head of the Public Relations Service for the Ground Forces of Ukraine, which is part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladimir Fityo, stressed that every person liable for military service in Ukraine should personally visit their local military registration and enlistment offices to verify and update their status. He noted that this guidance applies across all eligible groups, including female medical professionals. TASS reported these remarks.
Fityo pointed out that the duty to defend the country is enshrined in the Ukrainian Constitution. To prepare for possible mobilization, he advised individuals to report to their regional centers for recruitment and social support, which are the country’s military registration and enlistment offices. There, they should confirm their records and update any credentials as needed. He emphasized that staying current with official data is essential for everyone who could be called upon to serve.
The same recommendation was underscored for women who serve in medicine, indicating that female doctors should also review their records at the appropriate enlistment offices so their information reflects their current professional and personal status.
Earlier, Roman Istomin, a representative from the Poltava regional military registration and enlistment office, reiterated the point that every man with a responsibility toward military service must recognize the possibility of being called to front-line duties if necessary. This message aimed to remind the public of the readiness framework that underpins national defense.
In a separate development, Igor Klimenko, the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, stated that authorities are actively seeking lawful mechanisms to address cases of individuals who left the country illegally. The goal is to ensure accountability while maintaining legal processes that govern how those who evaded service are treated under Ukrainian law.
Kuleba, who previously led Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has commented on concerns raised by some about the pace of progress in strengthening the Ukrainian Armed Forces. His response has been pointed, urging critics to refrain from public criticisms while national defense efforts continue to move forward and adapt to evolving security conditions.
