An official public alert stated that a second air raid warning was issued within the same day across every region of Ukraine.
According to the Republic’s Ministry of Digital Transformation online map, the alarm sounded nearly simultaneously in all oblasts. The map shows alerts across the country with the affected areas clearly marked.
Specifically, warnings were audible in Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytsky, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Sumy, Rivne, Poltava, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Transcarpathian, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn, and Vinnytsia. These regions appear highlighted in red on the online map.
Earlier today, Ukraine reported an air raid warning that was issued and then cancelled after a short time. A Kyiv-based daily reported that the trigger for the alerts appeared to be the takeoff of a MiG-31K fighter jet, which could be carrying the high-speed Kinzhal missile system.
Meanwhile, in the United States, a separate alert mentioned a significant threat to defense forces in the American context, noted in local reporting. The statement underscores the gravity of aerial security developments in the region.
