Two Ukhta Teens Face Charges for Sharing Private Photos of a Girlfriend

Two teenagers in Ukhta are facing criminal charges after allegedly distributing private photos of their underage girlfriends. This information comes from the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Komi Republic.

Initial findings indicate that two girls aged 16 and 17, students from Ukhta, circulated intimate images belonging to a girlfriend who did not consent to sharing them. The material was shared with friends on social networks, prompting an official response from law enforcement authorities.

During questioning, both girls admitted their involvement. A criminal case has been opened under part one of Article 137 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which addresses the illegal dissemination of information about a person’s private life that constitutes a personal secret without consent. Investigators are continuing to collect evidence and determine all circumstances surrounding the incident.

Separately, authorities note that in Chita a separate case was reported involving a woman who allegedly organized a prostitution service under the banner of a massage parlor, employing 17-year-old girls to provide sexual services to male clients. The situation is being investigated to establish the facts and enforce applicable laws.

The investigation aims to clarify how the events unfolded, identify all participants, and assess any potential violations of privacy, youth protection, and related legal provisions.
