Two explosions rocked a liquefied petroleum gas station in Romania, leaving lives lost and several people injured. This information was provided by Raed Arafat, head of the Emergency Situations Department within the country’s Interior Ministry, and reported by DEA News.

A ministry representative stated that initial reports indicated about six civilians were injured at first. A second explosion followed, resulting in additional injuries among firefighters — 26 were hurt, with one sustained a serious condition.

Officials noted that others sustained mild to moderate burns across various body areas, and at least one person died in the incident.

Ministry sources explained that the first blast occurred at a gas station in Crevedia. In response, residents within a 300-meter radius were evacuated as authorities implemented temporary traffic restrictions to secure the area.

Earlier, a separate explosion in Sudan’s capital was captured in footage circulating online, highlighting a day of multiple fires and emergency responses in the region.
